Collection 01 — Making of a Moment

Studio Efe Aydar introduces the first chapter of its ongoing series exploring the dialogue between architecture and the visual arts.

Developed and documented by Studio Efe Aydar, Making of a Moment brings together a group of artists whose works inhabit the architectural narrative of Avantgarde Refined Cappadocia.

This inaugural collection reflects the studio’s expanding practice at the intersection of interior architecture, visual culture, and material expression. Through close collaboration with Emrah Önel, Esra Mengülerek, Sevil Alkan, and Tuğçe Diri, the project examines how art and space can form a shared cultural language.

Each encounter—held across studios, workshops, and the timeless landscape of Cappadocia—reveals a moment where material, memory, and place shape one another. Rather than documenting outcomes, the collection captures the processes, gestures, and atmospheres that define these artistic practices.

Over the coming weeks, Collection 01 will unfold across a series of visual chapters on the studio’s channels, highlighting conversations, materials, and perspectives that informed the project.
